La Noche en Blanco, one of the most anticipated events for lovers of culture in Seville, is falling. The event, which this year celebrates its seventh edition, will open on Friday, October 5, at night, the program for the cultural autumn of the city. Under the organization of the citizen collective 'sevillasemueve', the White Night of this year brings together more than 160 activities spread throughout the geography of the city of Seville, especially the center.

There is a wide range of disciplines to choose from, ranging from visits to the city's rich heritage, cultural routes, theater, concerts, painting courses, readings in bookstores, music and dance, activities related to photography and the audiovisual world or with the science and engineering, and literary activities.

Of course, you have to go out to the street with enthusiasm and also with some patience. Last year, Noche en Blanco gathered more than 80,000 people in the streets and participating spaces. It is likely that the figure will be repeated or exceeded this year, so queues are expected in some monuments and many crowded places.

Some tips to enjoy the Night in White and not die trying

Most of the activities are carried out in the center, Triana and also by Nervión, so it is advisable to forget about the car. Walking, cycling or public transport are the best options. Tussam and Metro de Sevilla will reinforce their services during the night and early morning of Friday, October 5 (the bulk of the activities are carried out from 8:00 pm to 2:00 pm), even the subway will extend their schedules.

If the activities are by reservation, do not leave everything for the last minute. Many of them, like the dramatized visits to the Artillery Factory, the great novelty for this year sold out during the first hours. Or those of the Real Alcázar. What's free calls attention, but there are some activities that have a symbolic price that help cover the expenses of the night schedule, such as the Navigation Pavilion or the Aquarium, which other days charge the most expensive ticket.
